Railroad

Hi! Railroad Rich Kimmel here! I just wanted to say a few words about who I am. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but have lived many places in my almost 60 years here! I have been a railfan for many years, and most of this site is about railroads and train-related stuff! I am still working, however, for a Florida Water Management District. My wife Jan and I live in the Central Florida area, and we got married in June 2005 (photo at left was from our wedding). I knew my wife in high school, and after many many years apart, we got back together a few years ago. We were both previously married, and my wife has 2 kids - none for me.

I enjoy downhill skiing and traveling also, plus I enjoy music and other activities. I was inspired to do this web site by the folks at trainweb.com, as a forum for sharing with others some aspects of my railroad hobby. Therefore, in this site you will find a few railroad photos, train trip reports, and possibly some railroad guides I have put together. And I can't forget our Parrothead interests also -- see the "Parrothead stuff" link above. So sit back and enjoy this site!!!
